Terri Michael Terri Michael has been designing custom pieces of jewelry for friends and family since the 70s, right around the time she began her broadcasting career. She is a well-known journalist, radio host and TV personality. While still living in her hometown of Montreal, Terri became the first woman in Canada to host a radio morning show. She also created, wrote and hosted the most successful feature in radio syndication history, "Canadian Living." It ran on over 120 radio stations for 11 years! Terri has MC’d countless public and fashion events over the years, and her TV work includes stints on MSNBC and OMNI Television. She is currently the official station voice for The Biography Channel. In 2006, the Stoned Originals online store was launched. Since then Terri’s jewelry has been featured on TV and Radio as well as on the pages of FASHION, Chatelaine, FQ Magazine, Wedding Bells, the Toronto Star, the National Post, the Financial Post, and many others. Most of Terri Michael’s jewelry is hand-crafted in the Toronto area using an array of gems from around the world including semi-precious stones, freshwater and shell pearls, exquisite CZ diamonds and Swarovski crystals. Our components are comprised mostly of sterling silver, platinum over sterling, gold plate and gold vermeil. Terri takes great care to create jewelry that is not only beautiful, but durable as well; wire-wrapping is done by hand to ensure strength. You’ll find that the workmanship is outstanding - quality and value are the cornerstones of our business. High-profile Clients Fashion maven Jeanne Beker was the first celebrity to wear one of our pieces to President Bill Clinton’s 60th birthday celebration in fall 2006. Since then, our list has grown to include Hollywood actresses Rebecca Staab and Vanessa Lengies, and Cecilia Hall who won an Academy Award for Sound in the film, The Hunt for Red October.
